Russian blogger Mikhail Litvin has been fined 500 rubles by a court in Russia for submitting incomplete and inaccurate employee records to state pension authorities, according to news reports.
The ruling was delivered by the Arbitration Court of Sakhalin Region after the local branch of the Pension and Social Insurance Fund of Russia filed a lawsuit against the content creator, the news outlet Regnum reported on Telegram.
Court documentation showed that Litvin submitted incomplete or unreliable information regarding the periods of work of his employees. The reporting violations were discovered in documentation submitted for the 2021 reporting year. In addition to the 500-ruble fine, Litvin was ordered to pay a state fee of 8,000 rubles.

The court penalty against Litvin follows similar legal enforcement actions involving other high-profile internet personalities in Russia. Russian court authorities previously recovered 22,000 rubles from fashion blogger and stylist Karina Nigay after she failed to pay a mandatory statutory fee levied on online commercial advertising.
In another case, a magistrate judge imposed a 10,000-ruble fine on Russian journalist, television presenter, and public figure Ksenia Sobchak. That enforcement order was issued after Sobchak failed to pay an outstanding administrative penalty for a parking violation.
