Russian Deputy Defence Minister Army General Alexander Sanchik has announced that over one million weapons and munitions have been delivered to the armed forces.
Speaking in statements reported by Russian state news agency TASS, General Sanchik said the shipments comprised a wide range of military supplies, including artillery ammunition, aerial missiles, aerial bombs, drone warheads, and anti-drone ammunition for standard infantry weapons.
General Sanchik specified that in September alone, the Russian Armed Forces received more than 10,000 units of armaments and military hardware under the official supply plan.
The September deliveries included advanced combat aircraft, specifically Su-57 stealth fighters and Su-35S jets, alongside main battle tanks including the T-90M, T-80BVM, and T-72B3M models.
Deliveries of military equipment
In addition to heavy armour and aircraft, troops received air defence systems, armoured combat vehicles, reconnaissance drones, strike drones, hexacopters, and multi-purpose ground robotic systems designed for specialized field duties.
Anti-drone cartridges and specialized electronic warfare countermeasures have become standard issue across modern infantry formations to defend against low-altitude unmanned aerial vehicles.

The Sukhoi Su-57 is Russia's primary fifth-generation stealth fighter aircraft designed for air superiority and strike operations, while the Su-35S serves as a major twin-engine multirole fighter. The T-90M represents Russia's main modernized battle tank, operating alongside upgraded platforms such as the gas-turbine T-80BVM and the T-72B3M.
The Ministry of Defence of Russia oversees the administrative and operational command of the national military, with official announcements regularly distributed through state news agency TASS, headquartered in Moscow.
Naval expansion and recent strikes
General Sanchik also highlighted developments within naval forces, stating that the minesweeper Semyon Agafonov was launched in September as part of measures to re-equip the Russian Navy. The Project 12700 vessel is currently under construction for service with the Northern Fleet.
Project 12700 minesweepers, also known as the Alexandrit class, are specialized naval vessels constructed with monolithic fiberglass hulls to reduce magnetic signatures during mine countermeasures operations. The Northern Fleet commands Russian naval forces across the Arctic Ocean from its main headquarters in the Murmansk region.
The update on military deliveries follows a statement from the Ministry of Defence of Russia reporting targeted strikes against Ukrainian positions over a 24-hour period.
According to the ministry, Russian forces struck Ukrainian Armed Forces depots containing ammunition and explosives. The operations also targeted drone storage locations and temporary deployment points housing Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries.
