A Reddit user with the handle Strict_Difficulty_90 said he found an unusual way to force a coworker to clean up an office the man had reportedly neglected for months.
The user wrote that the office was disgusting and dirty, with month-old food containers growing mold and stains on the shared seating. He said the mess had become an embarrassment for the business and for anyone who saw it, so he decided to take matters into his own hands. He bought a prank spray designed to mimic the smell of intestinal gas from a novelty shop and lightly sprayed it in the coworker's office. According to the post, the coworker sniffed the air and concluded he had passed gas without realizing it.

Escalating the prank
The user said that on a second attempt he sprayed more of the product, but it still failed to produce the result he wanted. On a third try, he poured a substantial amount of the spray into the trash bin in the coworker's office and added some to the floor as well.
The user said that the next day, the office was spotless. He said his coworker's only regret was having to throw out the mold-covered food containers, which reportedly earned him a scolding from his wife. The author said he felt proud of the achievement.
