Channel One employee Marina Ovsyannikova, who appeared in the frame with a pacifist poster during the live broadcast of the Vremya program, is on duty at the Ostankino television center, lawyer Pavel Chikov reports on his Twitter page. Lawyer Daniil Berman informed about the whereabouts of Ovsyannikova, adding that he was not allowed to see the detainee.
Chikov explained that the police can hold Ovsyannikova for more than three hours only if a protocol is drawn up under the “arrest” article on an administrative offense – petty hooliganism (art. 20.1) or disobedience to the requirements of a police officer (art. 19.3). Detention on suspicion of “discrediting the armed forces” under an article that appeared on March 4 carries a fine and prevents police from holding a detainee for more than three hours.
We will remind, earlier it was reported that on the “First channel” an internal check is being carried out after an incident with an outsider in the frame during a live broadcast. The recording posted on the web shows a woman with a pacifist slogan appearing in the frame.
