In contrast, the Fishing sector was the one that fell the most, registering -30.27%, due to the lower capture of species of maritime origin (-32.64%), which includes anchovy for indirect human consumption (meal and fish oil) that amounted to 111,127 tons, which compared to 516,961 tons in January 2021, showed a decrease of 78.50%, due to the culmination of the Second Fishing Season 2021 in the North Central zone of the Peruvian coast (12 of January 2022).
