In contrast, the Fishing sector was the one that fell the most, registering -30.27%, due to the lower capture of species of maritime origin (-32.64%), which includes anchovy for indirect human consumption (meal and fish oil) that amounted to 111,127 tons, which compared to 516,961 tons in January 2021, showed a decrease of 78.50%, due to the culmination of the Second Fishing Season 2021 in the North Central zone of the Peruvian coast (12 of January 2022).
Meanwhile, the Financial and Insurance sector registered 6.96%, Manufacturing with -1.57% and Construction with -0.59%.
