In response to the shelling of Donetsk, the Russian Armed Forces will destroy the facilities of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, which are used by the “nationalists”. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov, whose words are quoted by the press service of the military department.
The agency called on employees of Ukrainian defense enterprises and residents of houses located next to them to leave potentially dangerous areas.
The ministry also said that Russian forces would continue to deliver pinpoint strikes against the deployment sites of foreign mercenaries who arrived in Ukraine to participate in hostilities against Russian troops.
On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin made an emergency appeal to the Russians and announced a special military operation in the Donbass. In his speech, he stated that “circumstances require decisive action from Russia” and stressed that “Russia will not allow Ukraine to have nuclear weapons.”
According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, as of Monday morning, since the beginning of the special military operation, the Russian Armed Forces have already disabled 3,920 military infrastructure facilities in Ukraine. Over the past day, 187 objects of Ukrainian troops were destroyed, including three unmanned aerial vehicles and Bayraktar TB-2.
