Authorities of the Aginsky Buryat District: A native of Transbaikalia died during a special military operation in Ukraine

A native of Transbaikalia, Badma Mitupov died during a special military operation in Ukraine. This was reported by the administration of the Aginsky Buryat district of the Trans-Baikal Territory.

“On February 28, during a special military operation in Ukraine, our countryman Badma Baldanovich Mitupov was killed,” the report says.

The authorities expressed their condolences to the families and friends of the deceased.

Badma Mitupov was born on October 25, 1996 in the village of Usharbay, Mogoytuysky district. After graduating from school in 2014, he entered the Aginsky Medical College named after V. L. Chimitdorzhiev. In the same year he was drafted into the army. After returning, he graduated from college with a degree in Nursing. Then he studied at the medical faculty of the Buryat State University, and then went to military service under a contract. He served in the 5th separate guards tank brigade as a sanitary instructor, then was sent to the Tula hospital to treat patients with coronavirus. In January 2022, the man went to the joint exercises “Allied Resolve-2022” in Belarus, and then to a special military operation in Ukraine.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation in Ukraine. Meanwhile, Russia and Ukraine are negotiating to resolve the situation. Putin said during a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that the suspension of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine is possible only if Kyiv stops fighting.
