Sergeant Mikhail Belyakov, who died during a special operation in Ukraine, was buried in Nikolsk, Penza Region. This is reported by the portal PenzaNews.

The farewell ceremony took place on March 10.

According to media reports, Belyakov was called up for military service in 2009, and from April 2010 he served under a contract in the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces and in the troops of the National Guard. By decree of the President of Russia, he was posthumously presented for the award of the Order of Courage.

At the same time, in the Volgograd region, they are preparing for the funeral of 27-year-old Sergei Miller, who also died during a special operation in Ukraine, V1.RU notes with reference to the administration of the Kotovsky district.

According to media reports, Miller was born in Siberia and grew up in Korostino. In the family he was the middle son, they were raised by a single mother. In 2013, he went to serve on a contract basis in Armenia, then transferred to the Crimea. Miller served in the 102nd Order of Alexander Nevsky Russian military base in Armenia. He left behind a wife and three children in the country. His mother decided that he would be buried in his native village. The funeral will take place next weekend.

Recall, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin made an emergency appeal to the Russians and announced a special military operation in the Donbass. In his speech, he stated that “circumstances require decisive action from Russia” and stressed that “Russia will not allow Ukraine to have nuclear weapons.”
