The Governor of the Trans-Baikal Territory, Alexander Osipov, announced the name of the Chita fighter who died in Ukraine and expressed his condolences to his loved ones. This is reported by the website of the regional administration.

Osipov urged the people of Transbaikalia to pay their debt of respect to the shooter Ilya Buldin and reminded them of the importance of mutual assistance and support. “Notice in time who needs help now. Get involved, please,” he said.

Earlier, the heads of the Ryazan region, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Tatarstan, the Saratov region, the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, the Chelyabinsk region and Mordovia reported losses in the military operation.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on March 2 announced the number of victims of the military operation in Ukraine. According to the agency, 498 Russian soldiers were killed, 1,597 were injured.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that more than 7 million rubles will be paid to family members of servicemen who died in the operation in Ukraine; the wounded will receive an additional payment of 3 million rubles.

Recall that on February 24, Putin made an emergency appeal to the Russians and announced a special military operation in the Donbass. In his speech, he stated that “circumstances require decisive action from Russia.” According to Putin, “Russia will not allow Ukraine to have nuclear weapons.”
