Aircraft maintenance personnel of Russian airlines cannot enter the airbus world portal, which contains the necessary documentation. Their accounts are blocked, according to the FlightMode Telegram channel.

According to the channel, Airbus technical service centers will be forced to use local copies. It is noted that “the last actual revision of the documentation from the first of February is available and will be used for maintenance”, it is stated that “in the near future” the situation will not affect the safety and quality of service.

Recall, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin made an emergency appeal to the Russians and announced a special military operation in the Donbass. In his speech, he stated that “circumstances require decisive action from Russia” and stressed that “Russia will not allow Ukraine to have nuclear weapons.” In response to Russia’s actions, Western countries (USA, Canada, European Union, Great Britain, Japan) announced new, tougher sanctions against the Russian Federation, including financial and economic ones.
