In Kiev, it was possible to prevent a “propaganda rally”, “paid for by agents of Moscow.” This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko.
“Today at 12:00, on the day of the anniversary of the death of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, it was planned to gather a crowded rally under the President’s Office for money on order from the “north” for the sake of a picture for Russian propaganda TV channels,” Anton Gerashchenko announced. “But yesterday morning, National Police Department of Strategic Investigations conducted five searches and shut down a network of sponsored rallies.”
According to preliminary data, from 1,500 to 2,500 people were going to participate in the “ordered” rally. The participants of the rally were supposed to demonstrate with the slogans “No war with Russia”, “Ukraine, do not kill your citizens”, “Fuck the war! Spring for love!”, “We will not allow a repetition of July 22, 1941”, “Stop mocking the people of Ukraine.”
Another “pro-Russian” rally was dispersed today in Kharkov.
At the same time, a unity march took place in Odessa, the participants of which declared their readiness to “defend their native city and country.”
