A 58-year-old woman tragically died in Moscow. An ice block fell on her head from the roof of the house.
The incident occurred on Friday, February 18, near a house on 13th Parkovaya Street in eastern Moscow. It was established that ice had fallen on a woman passing by the house. She died on the spot from her injuries.
On the fact of the incident, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has already opened a case on causing death by negligence. As part of the investigation of the case, the persons responsible for cleaning the roof of the said house will be identified. Currently, investigators and forensic specialists from the Metropolitan Office are working at the scene of the incident.

According to the press service of the prefecture of the Eastern Administrative District of Moscow, the woman who died in Izmailovo ignored the fences and warnings of passers-by. “At the address: 13th Parkovaya Street, building 11, work was carried out to clean the water intake gutters and funnels of the external drainage system. At the same time, the work site was fenced with two lines of fences, and duty was organized on the ground, ”the prefecture said in a statement. According to the authorities, the deceased ignored the warnings of the duty officer and crossed both lines of the fence, hitting the work area.
Earlier it was reported that in Bronnitsy, a woman and two children were injured when snow fell from the roof.
