The administration of the governor of the Rostov region has no information about the planned deployment of temporary accommodation centers for refugees. The authorities of the region know about the decision of the heads of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk republics only from the news, reports Znak.com.
Earlier on Friday, the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, and the head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik, announced a mass evacuation of residents in the Russian Federation. Pushilin instructed the departments to ensure the evacuation of social facilities and help residents to leave for the Russian Federation. According to him, this is due to the high risk that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is ready to order an offensive. Pasechnik made a similar statement.
The head of the DPR said that, in agreement with the Russian authorities, a place was allocated in the Rostov region for the population of the DPR and LPR, conditions were created at border checkpoints for a quick transition.
Meanwhile, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that he had no information about what is currently happening in the DPR. According to the speaker, he “does not have information” whether this was agreed with the Russian side.
