The Swiss authorities have announced that from February 17, almost all coronavirus restrictions will be lifted in the country. This was reported in a press release on the website of the government of the country.

From tomorrow it will be possible to enter Swiss shops, restaurants, cultural institutions and work without a mask and a vaccination certificate. In addition, the country’s authorities announced the cancellation of recommendations to work remotely.

Until the end of March, the requirement for isolation upon receipt of a positive test, as well as for masks in public transport and health facilities, remains in force.

Citizens entering the country may not present a certificate, a certificate of a coronavirus or a negative PCR test. Note that Switzerland does not yet accept Russians for tourism purposes, entry is still allowed only to certain categories of citizens from Russia.

Earlier, Finland decided to waive the requirement for a negative test for coronavirus for those entering from outside the Schengen area and the EU. The decision came into force on February 15 and will remain in effect until at least March 13. Sweden, Denmark and Norway also announced the lifting of measures to contain the pandemic.
