In the Moscow district of Koptevo, up to 500 people took to the streets to collect signatures to appeal to the mayor’s office and the prosecutor’s office due to the huge bills for the amount of thermal energy consumed in 2021. Citizens gathered at the Baikal shopping center.
According to Readovka, the recalculation in receipts in some cases amounted to 500% – from 4 thousand rubles to 20 thousand rubles.
According to local resident Elena, the amount increased due to heating: “Allegedly, the heating season started earlier last year, a recalculation was made, and now residents have been billed such amounts in a single payment. Our eyes popped out!”
Homeowners demand to revise the calculation of tariffs, cancel the recalculation and not charge penalties in case of late payments due to disagreement of citizens with invoices.
According to Moslenta, the chairman of the board of the house, Elena Volkova, said that PJSC MIPC sent notifications to all managing organizations of Moscow. The adjustment of the cost of services is related to the excess of the planned volume of thermal energy in 2021.
