Polish police and local authorities are preparing for the influx of refugees from Ukraine. He announced this on Sunday Twitter Polish Interior Minister Mariusz Kaminski.

“Obviously, in connection with the situation in Ukraine, we are preparing for different scenarios. In particular, the actions of the governors are coordinated (heads of districts)associated with a possible influx of refugees from Ukraine, who, due to a possible conflict, may seek asylum in our country,” Kaminsky wrote.

Earlier, European Commission spokesman Eric Mamer said that the authorities of the EU countries should prepare for the influx of refugees from Ukraine. “We’re trying to be ready for anything, but we can’t give any details right now,” Mamer said.

He also did not rule out that, if necessary, a mechanism to suspend the current visa liberalization with Ukraine could be activated.

The United States is also preparing for all possible consequences of the situation with Ukraine, including a massive exodus of refugees and disruptions in oil and gas supplies, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said.
