US military instructors are following the example of their British counterparts and leaving the territory of Ukraine. This is reported by the Reuters news agency, referring to the order of Defense Secretary Lloyd Osborne.
“Secretary Austin has ordered the temporary redeployment of 160 Florida National Guard troops who have been deployed to Ukraine since the end of November,” the reporters said.
It was previously announced that British military instructors have completed their work in Ukraine and are leaving it this weekend, February 12-13.
“In the event of a military conflict in Ukraine, there will be not a single British soldier,” said the Deputy Minister of Defense of Great Britain, James Hippie, quoted by the BBC.
At the same time, the representative of the Ministry of Defense refused the request of the Ambassador of Ukraine in London, Vadim Prystaiko, to send additional forces to Ukraine. According to Hippie, the increase in the Western military presence in Ukraine can be used by the Russian Federation as a pretext for launching offensive operations against Kiev.
