The British authorities called on the subjects of the kingdom, who are in Ukraine, to leave it urgently. London is concerned about the possible invasion of Russia, which has concentrated up to 100,000 troops near the Ukrainian borders; Tensions escalated Friday evening when Western officials said that Russian forces could carry out an attack before the end of the Beijing Olympics.

The British Foreign Office warned compatriots that if they do not leave before the start of the proposed war, then there will be nothing to go on. “Evacuate now while commercial flights from Ukraine are still available,” reads a message from the Foreign Office, quoted by BBC News.

Meanwhile, high-ranking representatives of the British ruling cabinet continue to press Moscow to abandon its “aggressive” intentions. Following Foreign Minister Liz Truss, British Defense Minister Ben Wallace arrived in Moscow. He met with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, warning him that an invasion would be disastrous for both Russia and Ukraine.

In response, Shoigu blamed NATO for what was happening, saying that the increased escalation in Europe “is not our fault.”

Other European countries followed the UK example, including the Netherlands, Estonia, Latvia, North Macedonia and Norway. The latter, according to NRK, also asked compatriots not to travel to Belarus, which has been conducting joint military exercises with Russia since February 10. The Norwegians can stop only in Minsk – according to Oslo, in the event of a war with Ukraine and the participation of Belarusian troops in it, it will be safe in the capital of Belarus.

From the Asian states, South Korea and Japan called for evacuation.

Meanwhile, unconfirmed information appeared on Telegram channels that people were allegedly rushing from Ukraine to Russia and had already sold out all the bus tickets.

US President Joe Biden earlier appealed to Americans to leave Ukraine. He made it clear that there would be no evacuation by military aircraft, as was the case with the withdrawal of the United States contingent from Afghanistan.

Washington has already officially announced that Russia could launch an invasion of Ukraine with air strikes, which would entail the death of peaceful Ukrainians.

A day earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov did not rule out that some of the personnel who worked in the Russian diplomatic mission could be taken home. Following this, it became known that such preparations were underway.
