Ukraine urges calm and not to spread panic

In the midst of an escalation of tension over a possible Russian invasion of which the US is warning, Ukraine believes it is essential to “avoid actions that undermine stability and sow panic”. In addition, Putin and Biden will speak this Saturday about the Ukrainian crisis.

Ukraine has urged this Saturday for calm and don’t panic after the US warned of a possible Russian invasion next week and the appeal of various Western countries to their citizens to leave the country.

“Now it is essential to remain calm, consolidate within the country and avoid actions that undermine stability and sow panic,” the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will call this saturday to US President Joe Biden, given the escalation of tension in relation to the Ukraine crisis.

In addition, several countries on Friday asked their citizens to leave Ukraine in the next 24 or 48 hours.
