The Santiago de Guayaquil Catholic University is starting a modernization process. under the motto “new stories, new leaders” improvement is pointed to in all areas.
There are several strategic axes that are being worked on. For example:
1. The question has been diversification of the academic offer of the degree based on the new demands and requirements of society with interdisciplinary curricular designs and a flexible academic programming structure.
2. Likewise, it is aimed establish a hybrid education model through the inclusion of the virtual modality.
3. Another strategy adopted is the formation of a teaching team with skills and abilities for the development of virtual education programs oriented to the creation of the UCSG Online.
The UCSG education system is also based on the innovation and socialization of knowledge. The proportion of adequate physical environments for the support and development of university enterprises and social interest groups has been defined. Likewise, it is known of the relevance of the linking the university with society, the State and business. Therefore, it seeks to expand the link with local and international collective groups. (I)
