The daughter of ex-judge Saydi Yangulbaeva Aliya said that she left Russia with her father. In a comment to RIA Novosti, she did not specify in which country they are located.

Recall that family members of the former federal judge received life threats, including from State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov and from Ramzan Kadyrov himself. The formal occasion was statements about local revered religious figures. The Chechen authorities also claim that the Yangulbaevs allegedly persuaded the inhabitants of the republic to engage in terrorist and extremist activities. Human rights activists believe that the persecution is connected with the Telegram channel, which criticized Kadyrov and other high-ranking officials of the Chechen Republic.

The wife of a former judge was taken from Nizhny Novgorod to Chechnya, where she is under arrest under the threat of criminal terms, her husband and sons fled abroad.

A rally of thousands of men who came to condemn the Yangulbaev family took place in Grozny the day before. Also today, a video was published with a repentant appeal from the brother and other relatives of the ex-judge’s family.

On Thursday, a panel of judges from Chechnya stripped Saydi Yangulbaev of his judicial status, thus depriving him of immunity. Now a criminal case can be opened against the ex-judge. He intends to appeal this decision to the HCC judges of the Russian Federation.
