The former general director of the Antipinsky oil refinery, Gennady Lisovichenko, was detained in Italy. This is reported by TASS with reference to a source in law enforcement agencies.

“In Italy, in January, the ex-general director of the Antipinsky Oil Refinery Gennady Lisovichenko was detained, who was on the international wanted list on charges of abuse of power. Russian law enforcement authorities have been notified of the fact of detention, and a request for his extradition is currently being prepared,” the source said.

In 2020, the Tverskoy Court of Moscow arrested Lisovichenko in absentia in a fraud case. In the same case, the president of the New Stream group, Yuri Navrazhny, was also arrested in absentia.

According to investigators, in October 2017 Lisovichenko concluded an agreement with one of the commercial organizations on the sale of a railway access track. At the same time, the value of the contract amounted to about 20 million rubles, despite the market price of about 38 million rubles. After that, the specified railway track was leased from the buyer of the Antipinsky Oil Refinery. As a result, the plant suffered significant damage.
