Former US President Donald Trump believes that a recent telephone conversation between the current head of the White House, Joe Biden, and his Ukrainian counterpart, Vladimir Zelensky, was unsuccessful. The ex-president stated this, speaking to his supporters in the city of Conroe (Texas).
As previously indicated by the media, during a telephone conversation, the American and Ukrainian leaders differed in their assessments of the threat they see in the presence of Russian troops near the borders of Ukraine, and the likelihood of an “invasion” by Russia, RIA Novosti reports.
Commenting on the Biden-Zelensky talks, Trump opined that “it wasn’t a good call” if “even half of what they say is (true)”.
“The President of Ukraine seemed to be telling him (Biden): ‘Calm down, just calm down. I think we’re all right. Just calm down.” Can you believe it?” the ex-president wonders.
He also called one of the reasons for the Ukrainian crisis that Europe, under Biden, began to “use” the United States.
“A big reason that we are now seeing this dangerous situation around Ukraine is that as soon as Biden came to power, for other countries it was a signal that the old days of using the United States were returning. That they don’t have to pay their bills and risk their lives. Let stupid Americans do everything for us, ”Trump complained.
