In the center of Ufa, a pack of stray dogs attacked a child today, who managed to escape thanks to a janitor who drove away the angry animals, REN TV reports.

Currently, an investigation is underway into the attack by stray dogs.

Recall that recently in Russia, cases of attacks by stray animals on people have become more frequent, and often with a fatal outcome.

So, for two days in the Astrakhan region, stray dogs bit a man to death.

And in Magadan, on January 27, a state of emergency (ES) was introduced due to the large number of stray dogs on the streets.

We also add that over the weekend, the chairman of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to analyze cases of attacks by stray dogs on people and prepare proposals for changing the law. Such an instruction was given “in connection with another case of the death of a child as a result of an attack by a pack of stray dogs,” the message on the website of the UK said.

Bastrykin ordered “to work out proposals for improving the current legislation in order to increase the safety of the population and exclude such facts.”
