At the Coyote Ugly bar on Dumskaya Street in St. Petersburg, a waitress accidentally set fire to a patron who ordered an “extreme serving” cocktail. It is reported by Channel Five with reference to the victim himself.
“A waitress comes up to me, says“ turn around ”, I turn around to her. She pours it on me, squirts absinthe right out of her mouth and immediately sets it on fire, ”the victim said.
According to him, in an institution on Dumskaya Street, he rested with a friend. After the alcohol on his clothes and body caught fire, the man tried to put out the fire himself with his hands. The flame was knocked down with the help of lemonade, which was poured on the guest by the waitress. The victim believes she was drunk.
At the Janelidze Research Institute, the man was diagnosed with burns to the respiratory tract, chest and neck. According to him, in the “Ugly Coyote” he was offered compensation in the amount of 100 thousand rubles.
Channel Five turned to the administration of the institution for clarification and received the following response:
“Bar rep on sick leave, no comment.”
