Inhabitants of Esmeraldas, Atacames and Rioverde demand the restoration of the drinking water service that was suspended due to pipe coupling work to the new collection plant of the Epmapse company.
The works began at the beginning of this week and that forced the suspension of the production and distribution of the liquid, it was expected to have everything enabled yesterday, Thursday, according to the works schedule.
“With these works, it will increase to 2,400 liters per second, this will allow the service to reach more sectors, including the upper parts of the city. Previously it was 1,200 litres”, explained Miguel Huerta, head of one of the construction companies.
