Preliminary versions indicate that the foreigner was inside a bar in the tourist area. Around 9:00 p.m., an individual entered and tried to steal his belongings. The Dutchman resisted the robbery and was injured.
In videos shared by residents of the area, it is observed that the foreigner was removed from the establishment on a stretcher by paramedics from the Guayaquil Fire Department.
