“I learned not to trust all Belarusians”: athlete Timanovskaya spoke about life in Poland

Belarusian athlete Kristina Timanovskaya told what she learned during her six months living in Poland.

According to her, she is now trying to use Polish instead of English, “although it is rather difficult.” Also, the athlete began to eat foods that were “an unaffordable luxury in Belarus” for her.

Timanovskaya has created her own clothing brand, “which she has dreamed of for so long,” and is now promoting it.

In addition, she learned to cope with stress and began to save, but not because she is experiencing financial difficulties, “but because you can always find good discounts in Poland.”

“I stopped cooking for a week in advance, because there is such a large selection of ready-made and healthy food. I got used to sorting garbage, this is not enough in Belarus. It remains to come to terms with the fact that everyone around us thinks that we are from Ukraine and stop raving about it, ”the girl shared on her Instagram.

As for unpleasant discoveries, the athlete “learned not to trust everyone, in particular, Belarusians”.

Recall that at the 2020 Summer Olympics Timanovskaya criticized the decision of the coaches, without her knowledge, to add 4 × 400 meters to the application for the relay race. After that, she stated that she was removed from the race and tried to forcibly return to Minsk.
