It is one of the measures implemented by the Municipality to reduce the risk of contagion in the marketing centers.
In order to reduce the spread of COVID-19, people who enter the 54 markets of Quito must present the vaccination card or certificate against COVID-19.
The District Trade Coordination Agency of the Municipality reiterated to users the permanent use of the mask.
It should be remembered that the card is the physical document that was obtained at the time of receiving the vaccine; while the certificate is a digital file that has a QR Code.
According to the resolutions of the national Emergency Operations Committee (COE), a capacity of 75% is allowed in the country’s markets. The requirement of the vaccination document applies to people over 12 years of age.
