Doctor and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov recalled the mechanism of the emergence of antibodies after vaccination against coronavirus.
The medic in his Telegram channel warned about the upcoming and “apparently massive” wave of coronavirus infection. According to him, after the second dose of the vaccine, protective antibodies appear in about three weeks. “After revaccination with the third dose, the level of protective antibodies also increases in 2-3 weeks,” the teledoctor wrote.
In this regard, Myasnikov urged Russians who are not vaccinated against covid “not to hesitate too much,” given that “growth may start as early as February”. In addition, the TV presenter said that vaccinated patients have a particularly strong immune response even to the omicron.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova reported that, as of December 24, vaccination with the first component was carried out 77 million 876 thousand 905 times, vaccination of the full cycle – 73 million 106 thousand 249 times. The herd immunity level in Russia is 60.4%.
Recall that in early December, Myasnikov ridiculed the methods of treating the common cold popular among Russians.
