In Khabarovsk, police detained a local resident on suspicion of making and selling fake medical leads from vaccinations and other medical documents, according to the city administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the department, a 42-year-old woman was detained red-handed while transferring money for a forged certificate.
The police learned about the trade in medical documents through social networks and instant messengers. They offered for sale certificates on contraindications for vaccination against coronavirus, on the passage of PCR tests, and the conclusion of medical commissions.
When the woman was detained, about 70 fake seals of various state institutions, including medical ones, ready-made false certificates and blank forms of books with fake seals were found in her belongings.
At the same time, the woman has nothing to do with the health sector. She also has no criminal record. She is unemployed, she printed certificates at home on a printer, and bought counterfeit stamps via the Internet. Now she faces up to two years in prison.
