Petersburg resident filed a lawsuit against Santa Claus because of unfulfilled desires

A lawyer from St. Petersburg filed a lawsuit against Santa Claus. He demands from the New Year’s wizard 10 million rubles and 23 gifts.

Petersburg resident Igor Mirzoev claims that over the past 23 years, none of his New Year’s dreams have come true. The man filed a lawsuit against Santa Claus, who, in his opinion, is not fulfilling his direct duties.

In a commentary for KP-Petersburg, he explained that in childhood, relations with Santa Claus were cloudless – every year he found gifts under the tree. But having matured, since about 1998, I stopped finding gifts. He did not write letters to Santa Claus, but he regularly made wishes under the chimes, but none of them came true as a child.

The man dreamed of an apartment, a car, a country house, a trip around the world, as well as an increase in the shares of one of the banks.

Igor Merzoev attached two lists to the lawsuit – with gifts and with wishes. “I didn’t write it all down before, so I had to remember it already during the application process,” he said. Thus, a St. Petersburg resident still dreams of the latest phone model with a good camera and an electronic clock.

The lawyer takes into account only the last 23 years, because it was then in 1988 that the JSC “Ded Moroz” appeared, to which both the post office and the patrimony of a good wizard now belong. As compensation for moral damage caused by Santa Claus, the man asks the company for 10 million rubles and 23 gifts.
