Alavés concedes the defeat against Villarreal and ends the year in relegation places

Alavés lost against Villarreal (5-2) this Tuesday at the La Cerámica stadium on delayed match corresponding to the 4th round of LaLiga Santander and the team from Vitoria ends the year 2021 in relegation places.

The albiazul set occupies the 18th place in the standings with 15 points, the same ones that Elche and Getefe have that are out of the descent. Cádiz is second to last with 14 points and the bottom position corresponds to a Levante that has 8 points.

The match started with a lot of rhythm, although without clear scoring chances. Alavés did not have time to digest his rival’s third goal and Yeremi Pino scored the 4-2 in the 79th minute, after pushing a ball yielded by Boulaye Dia into the net. Also, at minute 87, Gerad Moreno rounded off Villarreal’s victory after scoring 5-2 definitive.
