The US Congress has developed an alternative aid package for Ukraine and Israel

The United States Congress has developed an alternative plan to help Ukraine and Israel, as well as partially Taiwan. USA Today reports this. In addition, congressmen intend to develop amendments to the bill to strengthen borders in the southern United States.

At the same time, an alternative aid package could satisfy both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. Republican Brian Fitzpatrick thinks so. According to him, the new bill on funding allies does not have any criticism.

If the bill is approved by Congress, Ukraine will receive $47.69 billion, Israel – $10.4 billion. Taiwan can count on part of the amount in the amount of $5.4 billion, since this tranche is intended for all of Washington’s allies in Southeast Asia.

Let us remind you that on February 13, the US Senate approved another package of assistance to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan in the amount of $95 billion. Ukraine can count on $60 billion, the rest of the amount will be divided between the Israeli and Taiwanese budgets. However, the very next day, Speaker of the Lower House Mike Johnson made it clear that the Republicans of the House of Representatives, where the next vote was to take place, were not satisfied with a document that did not address the security issue of the US-Mexico border.
