Tutu.ru analysts named eight regions of the Russian Federation for winter sports

Analysts from the travel service Tutu.ru have identified eight regions of Russia where you can actively engage in winter sports this winter season, RT reports, citing the results of the study.

In particular, experts noted the Krasnodar region, where the popular resort Krasnaya Polyana is located in the foothills of the main Caucasus range. It attracts tourists from all over the country, providing skiing and snowboarding opportunities. The service emphasized the availability of good infrastructure and qualified trainers for beginners. However, it was noted that the number of tourists, especially at the Rosa Khutor resort, can be quite large.

In the Murmansk region, experts recommend visiting the Khibiny Mountains, where the Bolshoy Vudyavr ski resort is located. This resort is most likely suitable for experienced athletes. Also in this region you can get involved in winter walks and try dog sledding, in particular, in the Lovozero husky park.

The Kemerovo region provides the opportunity to visit the Sheregesh ski resort with a variety of slopes for athletes of different skill levels. Travelers can also go snowshoeing in the mountains.

In Karachay-Cherkessia, it is recommended to visit Dombay and Arkhyz. Dombay attracts professional skiers and snowboarders, providing opportunities for heli-skiing, and Arkhyz, according to analysts, is not inferior to it in popularity. Experienced skiers and snowboarders can not only ski here, but also go on a ski tour. Easy trails are also available for beginners.

In addition, the Karachay-Balkarian Republic is also on the list of recommended places for winter sports.
