On Wednesday, January 24, an investigative commission appointed into the so-called envelope elections conducts further interrogations of people related to the idea of organizing them. A hearing is scheduled for this day, former Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of State Assets, Tomasz Szczegielniak, and former Minister of State Assets, Jacek Sasin. The proceedings are broadcast by the most important media in the country.
During Tomasz Szczegielniak’s hearing, the atmosphere was extremely turbulent due to constant quarrels between PO MP Magdalena Filiks and PiS MP Przemysław Czarnek. The chairman of the committee, of course, referred to the “Jug of the Year”, i.e. a plebiscite organized by Internet creators – Michał Marszał and Jakobe Mansztajn from the “Make life harder” profile. The competition “distinguishes” figures related to the world of Polish politics who, according to Internet users, deserve the title of “pitcher”.
As in previous editions, this year the competition was “outstanding”, and in the final of the online competition, Przemysław Czarnek competed with Grzegorz Braun. However, the “Hanukkah” excess could not be compared to the overall activities of the former Minister of Education, as Internet users decided. Braun received “only” 152,205 votes compared to 309,632 votes cast for Czarnek.
