Primorye residents will be tried for theft of 12 million rubles and rape

Two Primorye residents found themselves at the center of a scandalous criminal case involving theft from a bank using underground mining. According to the RIA Novosti agency, one of them is also suspected of raping schoolgirls.

In the summer of 2022, the criminals carefully prepared to carry out their plan. They studied the area and the buildings there, choosing the one closest to the bank, and made a tunnel. Thanks to these measures, they stole twelve million rubles, which they subsequently disposed of at their own discretion. One of the robbers used them to purchase cars, reports the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya.

During the investigation of this theft, the authorities suspected that one of the gang members could also commit illegal acts against two school-age girls in the fall of the same year.

The police conducted a search in his garage, where they found items used to commit theft, as well as camouflage clothing in which the criminal could have used to attack the girls.

Investigators conducted a molecular genetic forensic examination, which made it possible to identify the male genotype. This genotype was found to be compatible with the suspect.

Investigating authorities intend to bring the case to court and ensure fair punishment for all those involved.
