Fact would have originated from a personal conflict with a woman, according to relatives.
A 24-year-old man died last night when he was hit by a black vehicle in the area of the Maestro’s citadel, in southern Guayaquil.
Residents indicated that the driver of the black car was chasing the motorcycle and ended up running it over and driving it meters further, said Jorge Padilla, inspector of the Transit and Mobility Agency (ATM), at the site.
The body of the motorcycle driver was left lying on one side of 46A Street.
Meanwhile, the other vehicle involved fled the site. However, various parts of the front were left on the scene.
Upon arrival at the site, relatives of the victim regretted the fact. There they indicated that the incident originated from a personal conflict between the victim and a woman.
Personnel from the Traffic Accident Investigation Office (OIAT) of the Ecuadorian Traffic Commission was in charge of analyzing the scene of the accident and transferring the body to the morgue of the Judicial Police, located in the west. (I)
