The Social Security Normalization Office (ONP) reported that the time for policyholders to access provisional pensions was reduced from 90 calendar days to 30 business days, from when they make their request to the ONP until the entity resolves the definitive request.
A total of 2,706 affiliates have received provisional pensions in the framework of streamlining the process established by Law No. 31365, Public Sector Budget Law for fiscal year 2022.
Law No. 31365 favors policyholders who apply for a retirement pension, disability for work and survivors pension, except in cases where the ONP has previously ruled denying the pension.
They also reported that on December 23 the provisional pensions that were in process and that meet the conditions of the law will be paid through an extraordinary payroll.

How to apply for the pension?
If you wish to request your pension from the ONP, you can do so through the virtual platform “onpvirtual” in the option “I am contributing”, “I want my pension”. If you do not have the technological means or have problems to use virtual services, you can attend one of the 11 ONP service centers from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
