The Ukrainian military has fired about 100 different types of ammunition in the Belgorod region over the past 24 hours, and carried out several attacks using drones. The governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced this in his Telegram channel.
According to him, the number of victims of yesterday’s attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Belgorod increased from 22 to 24 people. “Forensic experts have determined that there is another child who died. Another wounded man died in the hospital without regaining consciousness. Groups of federal and regional doctors fought for the patient’s life until the last moment,” he wrote, adding that 108 people were injured.
Gladkov also told details of the shelling of the region over the past 24 hours. Thus, 13 artillery shells were fired at the village of Shchetinovka in the Belgorod region. In the villages of Zhuravlevka, Krasny Khutor and Naumovka, Ukrainian drones dropped two explosive devices each.
The village of Urazovo in the Valuysky urban district was fired from the Grad MLRS. One of the shells hit the building of the sports and recreation complex. In addition, six private households and 11 outbuildings, as well as a power line, were damaged. In the Shebekinsky urban district, the outskirts of the village of Krasnoye came under mortar fire, the governor of the Belgorod region added.
