With social, cultural and tourism activities focused on boosting the economy of the sector, in the Zapotillo canton, Loja province, the reception of tourists has been scheduled so that they can observe the flowering of the Guayacanes.
This canton has a dry forest reserve that includes the Bolaspamba, Cazaderos and Mangahúrco parishes, where you can enjoy this classified as a “magical event of nature” and that occurs only once a year, as a result of the fall of rains. and humidity typical of the area.

“There will be sponsorship events for guayacán trees, guided walks, artistic cultural events in the forest that will take place during daylight hours, in order to avoid a strong crowding, and the holding of an agro-artisan exhibition in the central park of Bolaspamba, Mangahúrco and Cazaderos ”, indicated the mayor of Zapotillo, Efrén Vidal.
The respective trainings have been carried out for service providers regarding the care and handling of food. The inhabitants and entrepreneurs will take advantage of this event that lasts between eight and ten days to generate economic resources.
