Russian authorities plan to load schoolchildren with one more subject

The head of Rosprirodnadzor, Svetlana Radionova, turned to the Ministry of Education with a proposal to introduce another subject into the school curriculum – ecology. “There is a need – we will ask,” she said. RIA Novosti… Radionova clarified that while everything is at the level of an idea, the decision will be made by the Ministry of Education. However, earlier the idea of introducing ecology lessons at the school was supported by the winners of the award “Ecology is everyone’s business” organized by Rosprirodnadzor.

We will remind, earlier activists of the ecological movement “Separate Collection” and urged St. Petersburgers and residents of other cities to join petitions, addressed to Russian retailers, about “sticking”, “brawls” and “clips” and other garbage that is given out at the checkout in supermarkets. These toys seem small and harmless, but large retailers give out thousands of these toys every day.

“Stickers”, “brawls”, “clips”, “erasers”, “mini-tape”, “jump-scokers”, “stuffing” … All these are small souvenirs that retail chains give out to customers to stimulate purchases. Almost all of them will end up in a landfill, because both the souvenirs themselves and the packaging for them are most often made of non-recyclable materials. The saddest thing is that this little thing is often given out even to those customers who do not need it at all: “It’s free, take it!” – write activists.

Experts believe that retailers should not give out such “gifts” to everyone, without a request, as many immediately throw them into the trash can. You can come up with other methods to increase customer loyalty – for example, provide a cumulative discount on your favorite product. Promo codes and bonuses can be credited electronically in the application or on a card so as not to print them in huge quantities on receipts.
