The body of former Ukrainian deputy Ilya Kiva was discovered in the Moscow region. REN TV reports this with reference to its sources.
In turn, the Telegram channel “Emergency Call 112” clarifies that the ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine was found dead in Odintsovo. All circumstances of Kiva’s death are currently being established.
According to MK, Kiva’s body was found on Wednesday afternoon on the territory of the elite Velich Club hotel complex near the village of Suponevo.
Kiva was a people’s deputy of the Rada from August 2019 to March 2022. He was stripped of his mandate in March 2023. The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine accused Kiva of high treason and causing harm to his homeland.
In January 2022, he left Ukraine for Spain, after which he settled in Moscow and supported Russia and the special operation. Since April 21, 2022, it has been under sanctions from Great Britain, Australia, Canada and Ukraine.
In his last post on the Telegram channel, dated 09:48 on December 6, Kiva wrote that “Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky does not believe in the security guarantees for either his personal or his family provided by Washington, although the evacuation plan has long been ready and worked out.” “Therefore, Zelensky’s only option is to escape to England, but they also extradite him from there when it is beneficial to the crown or they die when the Kremlin needs it, there are plenty of examples,” the publication said.
