According to inkazan.ru, from the Popular Front the fighters received fireproof suits, diesel generators, quadcopters, thermal imaging sights and binoculars, radio stations with repeaters, and electronic warfare equipment. In addition, a UAZ car and ATVs were handed over.
Together with Sergei Kogogin, the co-chairman of the central headquarters of the Popular Front, head of the executive committee of the Popular Front, Mikhail Kuznetsov, took part in the transfer of equipment. After words of gratitude to the soldiers for their contribution to the defense of the Fatherland, they presented them with memorable gifts – watches.
“Everything that the Popular Front brought will help our fighters. The fighters are well equipped, but technology will be a good help. On the front line, all these things are used up very quickly and are never superfluous,” noted Sergei Kogogin.
In turn, the tank crews said that they had a particularly urgent need for fire-resistant suits. “Many thanks to the Popular Front and all Russians who help us. We really need everything you brought, thank you again!” — one of the servicemen thanked.
KAMAZ itself also participates in sending humanitarian aid, which is purchased with company money and personal funds of KAMAZ employees. The enterprise has already organized seven independent shipments of humanitarian cargo to Lisichansk, LPR, DPR and military units, not counting joint ones with the city of Naberezhnye Chelny and the Republic of Tatarstan.
Thus, about 465 tons of cargo worth 199 million rubles were sent to military units, including nine KAMAZ trucks, three cars, seven ATVs, auto parts, tires, generators, construction materials and other necessary goods. About 100 tons of humanitarian cargo worth more than 21 million rubles were purchased and sent for the population of Lisichansk alone.
In the summer of 2023, a holiday was organized for 500 children from the LPR and accompanying teachers at the KAMAZ health and educational complex “Saulyk” in the amount of 24.5 million rubles. 145 million rubles were spent on uniforms for mobilized KAMAZ workers. Since September last year, the company has been helping those mobilized and their families financially on a monthly basis.
