Actor Jamie Foxx has been sued before the New York Supreme Court for an alleged sexual assault occurred on a terrace in said city during 2015, according to specialized American media.

The plaintiff accuses Foxx of having touched without his consent after she and her friend approached the ‘Ray’ singer to ask for a photo while they were at the Catch NYC restaurant in August of that year.

According to the woman’s story, Foxx agreed to take a photo, paid her a series of compliments comparing her beauty to that of actress Gabrielle Union and then grabbed her arm, land left the place where they were and touched her breast without her consent.

Furthermore, according to her, the actor “put his fingers” in her “vagina and anus” until her friend came to her aid, even though one of the Hollywood star’s bodyguards had noticed the situation and He didn’t do anything to make it stop.

“Plaintiff suffered injuries, became ill, sore, distressed and incapacitated, and required medical treatment and advice,” reads the lawsuit, which includes the Catch NYC establishment itself and its owner, Mark Birnbaum, for having allowed the aggression through negligent behavior of its employees.

The demand asks for compensation for the victim and emphasizes that Foxx’s actions will affect her “permanently” as a result of the “sexual abuse and aggravated assault” she suffered.

The case has been filed under the New York State ‘Adult Survivors Law’, which is set to expire this week and allows victims to sue their alleged sex offenders even if the crimes have expired.

At 55 years old, Foxx has participated in more than 80 titles throughout his career, some as well-known as ‘Collateral’ or ‘Django Unchained’, which have elevated him as one of the best-known faces in the industry from Hollywood.

This year Foxx was in the public spotlight for his health after it was announced in April that he had been admitted to a hospital for a medical condition of which no details were revealed.

After much speculation, in July the actor denied rumors of serious health and, although he did not specify his condition, he assured that he had gone through very difficult times but that he was ready to return to work.
