“We supplied electronics to the army”: the United States punished ten individuals and companies for exporting to Russia

US authorities have identified the involvement of seven individuals and three companies in the illegal export of military electronics to Russia. This is stated in a document published by the Bureau of Industry and Security of the US Department of Commerce.

As a result, the department imposed sanctions against the alleged participants in the scheme, estimating the amount of supplies of dual-use electronic components to Russia at $7 million.

The sanctions included individuals Nikolai Goltsev, Salimjon Nasriddinov, Kristina Puzyreva, Oleg Zenchenko, Ekaterina Vetoshkina, Pavel Chernikov, Vladimir Bochkarev, as well as the companies SH Brothers, SN Electronics, Suntronic, RBC clarifies.

According to the US Department of Commerce, this group of individuals and companies allegedly purchased electronics for end users in Russia, including firms affiliated with the Russian army. Several charges have been brought against these individuals. Goltsev, Nasriddinov and Puzyreva were arrested.

According to American authorities, Goltsev and Puzyreva are Canadian citizens from Montreal, and Nisriddinov – from Brooklyn, he has Russian and Tajik citizenship. The documents also include Nikita Arkhipov and Artem Olovyannikov from St. Petersburg and Nikolai Grigoriev from Brooklyn.
