Katarzyna Warnke talked about divorce with Wojewódzki. She made one bad joke: “Too early.”

The guest of one of Kuba Wojewódzki’s last programs was Katarzyna Warnke. The pretext for the meeting was the premiere of the film “All That Sex” starring the actress. In the announcement, the host told the audience that he had chosen this artist from the cast because he believed that there were no taboo topics for her.

The conversation started with Warnke’s popular roles and her distance from the characters she creates. However, she quickly changed tracks to bed topics. Wojewódzki said that Poles have problems talking about their sexuality, the host called the new film with Warnke a form of therapy and concluded that its content can be not only entertaining, but also educational.

In the production “All That Sex”, Katarzyna Warnke shares the screen with, among others, her ex-husband, Piotr Stramowski. Wojewódzki couldn’t help but be sarcastic about the former couple. Warnke didn’t like it.

The host referred to that tradition and admitted that he had the idea to invite Warnke’s former partner to this role. “I wanted Piotrek to be a ‘water girl’, on my word of honour.” The actress was a bit embarrassed, but she predicted that Stramowski would not agree to such a joke.

Warnke cut off Wojewódzki’s joke: Too early

“He said he would come if you were gone,” Wojewódzki said. When Warnke made a theatrically sad face, he pointed out that it was a joke and that the actor was actually saying that the host’s idea could upset his ex-wife.

“Too early,” Warnke summed up the joke. “It cost us a bit. This is the collapse of the myth that is being built about love,” she added. “Divorce is a part of marriage, just as death is a part of life,” Wojewódzki noted, but Warnke did not want to continue talking and joking about the recent breakup. “Pour that water,” she said to the host and ended the discussion.

Warnke and Stramowski met in 2013 and got married three years later. In 2019, the couple became parents, and after another three years they announced their separation. Formally, the actors’ marriage ceased to exist recently, in October 2023.
