In the next three years, pensions and benefits will be increased in Russia, as well as maternity capital and sick leave payments. The data is presented in the draft budget of the Social Fund for 2024–2026, which was adopted by State Duma deputies in the first reading.
Thus, after indexation from January 1, 2024, the average old-age insurance pension for non-working pensioners will increase by 1,628 rubles and amount to 23,449 rubles. In 2025, pensions will be indexed twice – from February 1 by 4.5% and from April 1 by 2.2%. Pensions will also be indexed twice in 2026 – from February 1 by 4% and from April 1 by 2.3%.
As for social pensions, according to the project, in 2024 the increase will be 7.5%, in 2025 – 9.5%, in 2026 – 10.3%. The average social pension in 2024 will be approximately 13.5 thousand rubles. Benefits will also increase – from February 1, 2024, payments received by Heroes of Russia and Heroes of Labor, veterans, disabled people, blockade survivors, liquidators of various man-made accidents, and a number of other categories will increase by 7.5%. In 2025 they will grow by 4.5%, in 2026 by 4.0%.
An increase in sick leave payments is also provided. In 2024, the maximum amount of temporary disability benefits will be % 122,808 rubles. per month with insurance experience of 8 years or more; RUB 98,246 per month with insurance experience from 5 to 8 years; RUB 73,685 per month with an insurance period of up to 5 years.
The amount of maternity capital in 2024 is expected to increase by 7.5%, in 2025 – by 4.5%, in 2026 – by 4.% and will be in the case of the birth (adoption) of the first child starting from January 1, 2020, in 2024 – 630,967 rubles, in 2025 – 659,361 rubles, in 2026 – 685,735 rubles. In the event of the birth of a second child, the amount of maternity capital will be 833,800 rubles in 2024, 871,321 rubles in 2025, and 906,174 rubles in 2026.
