Ovsyannikov was also deprived of the right to engage in activities related to the administration of websites of electronic or information and telecommunication networks, including the Internet, for a period of 4 years.

The prosecution asked for 9.5 years for Ovsyannikova.

Earlier, the woman’s ex-husband Igor Ovsyannikov said that she had escaped from house arrest. According to him, Ovsyannikova disappeared in an unknown direction along with her 11-year-old daughter. Ovsyannikov added that the girl has not attended school for a month, and he knows nothing about her whereabouts.

Ovsyannikova was previously sentenced several times to administrative fines under the article on discrediting the Russian Armed Forces – Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and under Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses – for violating the legislation on public events.

As Rosbalt reported, Marina Ovsyannikova became famous after an incident in March 2022, when she burst into a live broadcast of Channel One with a pacifist poster. After that, she was fined 30 thousand rubles, and she left the Russian Federation for a while.
