He noted that flights to the distillery area were recorded. “The driver of the forklift was mortally wounded, the man died before the ambulance arrived,” Starovoit added, noting that the attack also hit the village of Gorleevka in the Korenevsky district, and as a result, a power line was damaged.
Villages in the Belgorod region were also shelled. The region was shelled over 130 times, the regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Telegram. He noted that five border settlements came under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Six explosive devices were dropped on them from drones, and the total number of shells was 137. Including 26 artillery shells were fired at the village of Shetinovka, three shells were fired at Zhuravlevka, and six shells were fired at the villages of Naumovka and Nekhoteevka. Three fragmentation munitions were also dropped from drones in Zhuravlevka, and one fragmentation munition was dropped in Solntsevka.
As a result of the shelling, windows were broken in two social facilities, the façade of one of the catering establishments and the premises of the administrative building of one of the industrial enterprises were damaged, and an excavator that was carrying out work near the border was destroyed, Gladkov noted.
